Time: 18:43 Location: York
Crews from York and Acomb responded to a report of a fire in a deep fat fryer in a commercial premises. A small fire had been extinguished prior to fire service crews arrival. Crews confirmed that the fire had been extinguished and there were no remaining hotspots. Crews inspected the equipment and isolated the electricity to the kitchen. Advice was given to staff.
Time: 18:46 Location: Thirsk
A crew from Thirsk responded to a report of casualties believed to have been exposed to gas in a property. Crews carried out a full check of the property using gas detectors and found no sign of gas. All occupants were out of the property and received precautionary checks from ambulance crews. Crews liaised with an on site engineer who believed the cause may have been related to a faulty sewage pump.

A crew from Filey responded to a report of a vehicle on fire. Crews located the vehicle in a field and extinguished the fire. Crews then dampened down the hot spots and carried out a full thermal scan of the surrounding field with no sign of the occupants.

A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of an alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Crews from Bentham responded to reports of a chimney fire at a residential premises. A fire was located within the chimney and extinguished by crews. Advice was given to the occupants.

Crews from Kirkbymoorside investigate a late fire call at a residential premises. The fire was confirmed extinguished and advice was given to the occupants.

A crew from York responded to a report of an alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was false alarm due to a fault on the system.

A crew from Leyburn responded to a report of water flooding into a residential property. Crews isolated the water to the property via the internal and external stop taps. Advice was given to the occupant.
