Time: 18:36 Location: York
Crews from York and Acomb responded to smoke inside a domestic property. After investigation crews found no sign of fire but smoke from cooking fumes. Crews ventilated the property and gave advice to the occupant.
Time: 18:43 Location: York
Crews from Acomb and Tadcaster responded to reports of a cooking hob being left on inside a property with no occupants inside. Crews isolated the gas externally and confirmed the property was empty. Advice was given to the responsible person who was also in communication with the owner who was out of area.

Bedale crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation at an industrial premises. This was a false alarm due to faulty apparatus.
Time: 22:01 Location: York
A crew from York assisted paramedics with the extrication of a casualty from their property. Crews lifted the casualty onto the ambulance stretcher and moved them to the awaiting road ambulance outside. The incident was left with paramedics.

A crew from York responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building. After inspection this was confirmed to be a false alarm.
