07:44, Tholthorpe, Easingwold
A crew from Easingwold responded to reports of an electricity pylon on fire. Crews stood by, until the power was isolated remotely by the electricity provided. The incident was left with Northern Power Grid.
12:24, Ganton, Sherburn
Crews from Scarborough responded to a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the lift of a casualty who had fallen down a banking. Crews used a casualty drag sheet and crew power to assist.
12:50, Whitby
Crews from Whitby and Lythe responded to a fire alarm sounding and a smell of burning within a residential premises. Crews investigated and found this to be a false alarm, caused by a faulty detector head, with no smell of burning.
15:24, Scarborough
Crew from Scarborough attended a residential area following a report of smoke. On arrival, crew confirmed this to be controlled burning under supervision. Advice given.
15:31, York
York crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirm this to be a false alarm.
16:12, Hutton Sessay
Thirsk crew attended and extinguished a small fire in the open using one hose reel jet.
