Time: 07:49 Location: York
Crews from York and Acomb responded to a vehicle on fire. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used cutting tools and spreaders to access the inside of the vehicle to extinguish the fire using a hose reel jet. The cab sustained significant fire damage but the rest of the vehicle sustained moderate fire damage. The incident was left with police who provided traffic management.

A crew from Skipton responded to an activated fire alarm. After inspection, this was confirmed as a false alarm.
Time: 11:39 Location: Malton
A crew from Malton investigated the strong smell of gas outside a residential area. After inspection, crews found no sign of a gas leak and the incident was left with the gas board.
Time: 12:59 Location: Knaresborough
Crews from Knaresborough and Harrogate responded to a small fire inside the wall cavity of a building which was out prior to their arrival. The fire had been extinguished with a hosepipe by workmen on site. Crews completed a thermal inspection and confirmed no further fire spread. Advice was given to the occupants.

A crew from Ripon responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building. This was confirmed as a false alarm after inspection.

A crew from Grassington responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building. Crews arrived and found no sign of smoke or fire after an investigation was completed. This was confirmed as a false alarm.

A crew from Scarborough assisted ambulance with the extrication of a patient from inside their home to the awaiting ambulance outside. Crews used a drag sheet and crew power and then the incident was left in the hands of paramedics.

A crew from Filey inspected the strong smell of gas inside a domestic property. After inspection, crews found no gas leak and advice was given to the occupant.

A crew from Knaresborough used a ring cutter to remove a ring stuck on a patients finger.
Time: 15:47 Location: Acomb
A crew from Acomb responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential property. This was caused by a small fire in a pan left on the hob which was out prior to crews arrival. Crews carried out an inspection and gave advice to the occupant.
