Incident Summary – Day Shift, Monday 14th April

Time: 10.18 Location: Stokesley
Crews from Northallerton and Stokesley attended a report of a controlled burn that had got out of control. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Time: 10.29 Location: Pickering
Crews from Malton and Helmsley responded to a report of a car that had impacted a building. Crews assisted the occupants from the vehicle with no apparent injuries.
Time: 14.09 Location: York
Crew from York responded to an automatic fire alarm activation in a residential premises. This was found to be a false alarm due to workmen configuring system.
Time: 14.19 Location: Danby
Crews from Danby responded to an automatic fire alarm activation in a residential premises. This was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
Time: 15.50 Location: Sherburn in Elmet
Crews from Tadcaster responded to a fire in a woodland that was believed to be started deliberately. Crews used 1 hose reel jet and beaters to extinguish the fire.
Time: 16.48 Location: Skipton
Crew from Grassington responded to a report of an activated automatic fire alarm in a residential premises. This incident is ongoing at time of publication.
