Incident Summary – 3rd June 2025, Tuesday Dayshift

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Time:  09:30  Location: Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate assisted ambulance staff with gaining entry to a property to assist the occupant who had fallen inside. Crews used small tools only.

Time:  10:22   Location: Acomb

A crew from Acomb used bolt cutters to gain entry to a property for ambulance crews to carry out medical treatment on the occupant inside. Incident was left with Ambulance crews.

Time:  10:48   Location: Acomb

A crew from Acomb responded to the smell of burning inside the communal area of a residential building. After inspection, the smell was caused by a previous chip pan fire inside a flat crews attended in the early hours of the morning. Advice was given to the responsible person.

Time:  11:58   Location: Tadcaster

A crew from Tadcaster assisted a elderly person who had fallen outside their property back to a safe position inside. Crew power used only.

Time:  12:57   Location: Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough completed a fire safety check of a structure outside a residential building. After inspection the structure was considered safe and advice was given to the responsible person.

 

Crews from York and Whitby also responded to activated fire alarms. After inspection, these were confirmed as false alarms.
