17:05 – Menwith Hill Road, Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of an alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to dust in the detector.
17:12 – Rawdon Avenue, York
A crew from York responded to a report of a fire to a mattress in a wooded area. The fire was out on the arrival of crews, they used knapsack sprayer to dampen down the remaining hotspots and surrounding area. Details of the incident were passed to the police.
18:34 – Moor Road, Filey
A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of smoke seen in the open. Crews carried out a search of the area and found the cause to be controlled burning under supervision. Advice was given to a responsible person.
21:59 – West Ayton, Scarborough
Scarborough crews responded to investigate a report of a fire in a rear garden. After inspection crew confirmed this was a bonfire under control. Crew gave advice to the responsible person.
22:50 Stockwell Road, Knaresborough
Knaresborough crews assisted Ambulance crews with gaining entry to a domestic property. Occupier inside required medical assistance.

Acomb crew attended a fire alarm activation at a commercial property. This was a false alarm caused by a fault.

York crews investigated reports of flooding coming from a church. On arrival crew investigated and confirmed a leaking overflow pipe. Crew were unable to gain entry but left a telephone message with the responsible person to attend as soon as possible.
