A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a fire to two softwood trees, which had spread from a brazier, and spread to a shed measuring 2m by 3m in the neighbouring garden. Crews used 2 hose reel jets and hand tools to deal with the incident.

08:40, Main Road, Aislaby

Crews from Whitby and Lythe responded to reports of a fire to a bin wagon. Crews gained access to the side of the bin lorry, and cooled the contents, before escorting back to the council depo.

A crew from York released 2 persons from a lift, using lift keys.
