Time:  17.11  Location: Jubilee Terrace, York

Crews from Acomb responded to a report of a fire in the open measuring 3m x 2m. crews extinguished the fire using 1 Hose Reel Jet.

Time: 17.12   Location: Foxwood Lane, York

Crews from Tadcaster responded to multiple reports of a fire to grassland.  The fire measured approximately 40m x 15m and was spreading to trees and hedging.  Crews used 2 Hose Reel Jets and Beaters to extinguish the fire.

Time:  17.19  Location: New Earswick, York

Crews from York responded to a report of some garden waste that had caught fire. The fire measured approximately 2m x 2m and crews extinguished the fire using 1 Hose Reel Jet.

Time:  18.08  Location: Sheriff Hutton

Crews from Easingwold, York and Malton responded to a report a person had got stuck in mud over their knees and could not self extricate. Crews used a Triple Extension ladder and Crew Power to extricate the casualty from the mud unharmed.

Time:  19.08  Location:  Selby

Crew from Selby attended a report of a pan being left on a hob in a residential premises causing smoke logging to that and neighbouring properties.  On arrival of the crews the residents had naturally vented the properties.  Crews gave advice.

Time: 19.54   Location:  Harrogate 

Crew from Harrogate responded to the activation of an automatic fire alarm in a commercial premises.  After a through inspection this was found to be a false alarm, believed to be due to a fault on the system.

Time:  20.17  Location: Old Maltongate, Malton

Crews from Malton responded to a report of a fire under a road bridge.  On arrival, the crews found a small fire made up of branches. It is believed the fire was started deliberately.

Time:  20.49  Location: Cross Hills, Skipton

Crews from Skipton responded to a report of a child accidentally getting locked into a vehicle.  Crews used a Glass Punch to release the child from the vehicle.

Time: 22.16   Location:  York

York Crew responded to a report of a fire behind a property which was causing concern to local residents due to the location of a large tree which crosses the boundary between properties. The fire was out on arrival of the crews, who found it was a controlled burn with adequate surpression equipment in place.  Crews gave advice to both parties.

Time:  22.52  Location: Whitby

The Crew from Whitby responded to a request from Ambulance to assist with lifting a patient and transporting them to an awaiting ambulance.  Crews used crew power.

Time:  23.33  Location: Nether Poppleton, York

Crews from Acomb responded to an activation of an automatic fire alarm in a commercial premises. After a thorough external examination no sign of fire was found.

Time:  03:23  Location: Valley Drive, Harrogate

Requested by Police, Harrogate crew made the scene safe following a single car RTC with no persons present. Incident left with Police who will trace registered keeper.

Time:  04:04  Location: Skipton

Skipton crew responded following a partial gable end collapse of an empty domestic premises in a terraced street with debris fallen into street.  The aerial platform from Harrogate was also requested due to the weight of rubble still on the roof which required moving.
