Time: 08:21 – Ox Close Lane, North Deighton 

A crew from Tadcaster responded to a report of a fire seen in the open. Crews confirmed this to be controlled burning under supervision. Advice was given to a responsible person.

Time: 08:37 – Church Lane, Harrogate 

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of a fire in a wooded area. Crews located a campfire within undergrowth measuring 15m x 15m. Crews used 1 hose reel jet to dampen the area down.

Time: 09:21 – Sessay 

A crew from Richmond responded to a report of a fire to a tree. Crews found this to be a controlled burning under supervision. Advice was given to a responsible person.

Time: 12:04 – Station Parade, Harrogate 

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of an alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm due to a test on the system.

Time: 14:29 – Yatts Road, Pickering

Crews responded to a report of a fire in the open. Crews found this to be a false alarm due to a controlled burn under supervision. Advice was given to a responsible person.

Time: 14:56 – Holme Hill, Eastfield

Crews from Scarborough and Filey responded to a report of a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. Crews used cutters and spreaders to release 1 casualty and transferred them from the vehicle into the care of ambulance crews. Crews then made the vehicles safe and left the incident in the hands of the police and ambulance crews.

Time: 16:10 – Franklin Road, Harrogate 

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of an alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a test on the system.

Time: 16:41 – A64 E Whitwell-On-the-Hill 

A crew from York responded to a report of a broken down vehicle that was smoking from the engine compartment. Crews found this to be a blown turbo. Crews cooled the engine compartment using 1 hose reel jet.
