Incident Summary for Night Shift 19th August

 

1819  A1237, Huntington

Crews from Acomb and Selby attended a two vehicle road traffic collision.  One car had caught fire following the collision causing 100% fire damage to the vehicle.  All persons were out of the vehicles.  One female casualty was treated for minor injuries by paramedics on scene.  Fire crews extinguished the car fire using two hose reel jets and used one breathing apparatus and the thermal image camera.

1927  Beckwithshaw 

Crews from Harrogate attended a small fire in the open, this was extinguished using two backpack sprayers and one shovel.

2131  Hesley Lane, Rathmell

Bentham crews attended a report of a fire in the open, on arrival this was a car on fire and requested a further crew from Settle to assist with water.   Vehicle was extinguished using one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus.

2145  Eastborough, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough attended a bin on fire, this was extinguished using one hose reel jet.

2210  Tadcaster Road, York

Crews from Acomb attended a small fire in the open, this was extinguished using one hose reel jet.

Crew attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. No persons trapped. Scene safety carried out and incident left with Police.
