17:09 – Ings Lane, Kirkbymoorside

A crew from Kirkbymoorside responded to a report of an alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm due to a faulty detector.

17:15 – Beckwith Head Road, Harrogate 

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of an alarm activation in a commercial premises. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system. Advice was given to a responsible person.

17:45 – Water End, York 

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a small fire in the open. Crews extinguished the fire consisting of a pile of carpet using knapsack sprayers.

18:22 – Esplanade, Scarborough 

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential premises. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Advice was given to a responsible person.

18:23 – Skelton Road, Langthorpe

Crews from Boroughbridge and Ripon responded to a report of a person in the river. On arrival crews located the individual on the river bank. The individual was removed from the bank side and left in the care of ambulance crews.

19:37 – Main Street, High Bentham

A crew from Bentham along with the aerial ladder platform from Harrogate responded to a report of a large piece of mortar that has been displaced on the roof of a property. Crews used the aerial ladder platform to inspect the roof and cordoned off the area. Crews gave advice to the home owner and handed the incident over to them.

A crew from York responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to water water in the system.
