Incident summary – Night shift Wednesday 1st October

17:37 Penny Royal Close, Killinghall 

Harrogate crews responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision. No people were trapped or injured and the incident was dealt with by Police and Ambulance Service.

18:32 Hunmanby, Filey

Filey crews investigated reports of a large fire sighted in a field near Primrose Valley Holiday Park. This tuned out to be a bonfire under supervision.

22:19 Filey

Filey crew attended a domestic property to investigate following a report of smoke issuing from a light fitting. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed no signs of heat or smoke. Advice given to occupant.

22:27 Moorview Road, Northallerton

Northallerton crew attended to provided assistance to ambulance paramedics in attendance at a domestic property. Triple extension ladder used by fire and rescue service to assist and incident left in hands of ambulance.

22:28 Scotton

Knaresborough crew attended following request from ambulance to assist with gaining entry to a property, however on arrival, paramedics had managed to enter the property and fire and rescue crews were no longer required.

 

Smoke alarm activations were investigated by crews from Scarborough. All were confirmed to be false alarms.
