Incident Summary – Day Shift, Friday 3rd October
Time: 08.51 Location: The Stray, Welburn
A Crew from Malton responded to a report of a 2 vehicle Road Traffic Collision. All persons were out on arrival of the crews and being checked over by ambulance. Crews assisted with scene safety and left the incident in the hands of the police.
Time: 09.06 Location: Station Road, Filey
A crew from Filey responded to a report of water flooding the inside of a property coming from an upstairs property. Crews isolated the water using small tools and advised the occupant to contact a responsible maintenance person.
Time: 09.50 Location: Keithley Road, Cowling
Crews from Skipton and Colne (Lancashire) responded to a report of a road traffic collision. On arrival of the crews no persons were trapped in the vehicle and crews assisted police with traffic management.
Time: 11.44 Location: Skipton Road, Embsay
Crews from Skipton and Grassington responded to a report of a fire to a porch of a residential property. The fire was found to be out on arrival of the crews. Crews used thermal imaging camera to inspect to confirm the fire was out.
Time: 12.57 Location: Glen Avenue, York
Crew from Acomb responded to a report of a smell of burning. Crews found a small attended controlled burn in a back garden. Crews gave advice.
Time: 13.32 Location: A684, Ellerbeck
Crew from Northallerton responded to a report of a car on the side of the road which had smoke coming from it. Crews carried out a through search and could not find the car.
Crews from Scarborough and Malton also attended automatic fire alarm activations. These were found to be false alarms.
