Incident Summary – Saturday Nightshift, 4th October 2025

Time: 17:02    Location: A6108, East Witton

Leyburn and Richmond mobilised to a vehicle that had rolled on the road. The driver was out on arrival and in the hands of paramedics. Fire crews provided scene safety before leaving the incident with police.

Time:  17:16  Location: Rotary Way, Ripon

Ripon responded to a small fire to the trunk of a tree. Youths were seen leaving the scene a with another who had attempted to extinguish the embers with a water bottle. Fire crews used a hose reel jet to fully extinguish the fire before leaving the scene.

Time:  18:20   Location: Water End, Acomb

Acomb mobilised to a small fire measuring 1 metre squared in a recreation ground. The fire consisted of tree debris. Fire crews extinguished the fire using a backpack sprayer and police were informed due to it being believed that the fire was ignited deliberately.

Time:  20:14  Location: Tame Bridge, Stokesley

A crew from Stokesley responded to reports of a fire in a back garden of a residential premises. This was a controlled burn left unattended, so crews extinguished.

Time: 23:44 Location: A65 Thorlby

Crews from Skipton, Earby (Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service) and Grassington responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision. Crews made the scene safe only.

Time: 05:54 Location: Huntriss Row, Scaroborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by a water leak.
