Crews from Richmond responded to an alarm sounding in a residential property. This was confirmed to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
Time: 17:17 Location: Coalmire Lane, Swainby
Crews from Northallerton responded to reports of a small fire in the open. On arrival this was found to be an unattended BBQ and the fire was out. Crews used a knapsack sprayer to dampen down around the area.

Crews from Tadcaster and Harrogate responded to assist West Yorkshire with a fire in a residential property. On arrival no action was required by North Yorkshire fire crews.
Time: 18:17 Location: Talbot Court, Whitby
Crews from Whitby responded to reports of a sighting of smoke in the open. On arrival this was confirmed to be a supervised bonfire. Advice was given to a responsible person.

Crews from Harrogate responded to a report of a fire in the open. On arrival this was confirmed to be a controlled burn under supervision.

Crews from Kirbymoorside attended a residential property to gain entry for a casualty who had fallen within. Crews used small tools to gain entry and cared for the casualty until the arrival of the Ambulance.

Crews from Scarborough responded to reports of a small fire in the open. This was found to be a pile of dug out plants on fire and crew dampened down using 2 hose reel jets.

An officer responded to a residential property where the occupier had concerns that a loft light which was stuck on may overheat. The officer isolated the light and gave advice to seek an electrician.

Crews from Acomb and York responded to assist Police with reports of a person on a roof of a commercial building. On arrival it was confirmed no persons were present on the roof.

Crews from Harrogate responded to reports of a small fire in the open. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn with the responsible person present.

Crews from Selby assisted Ambulance crew with moving a casualty from a property to a road ambulance.

Crews from Ripon assisted police to gain entry to a property over concerns for a resident. Entry was gained and the resident who was safe and well was left with the Ambulance crew.
