Time: 16:41  Location: Doncaster Road, Selby

Crews from Selby responded to an alarm sounding in a residential building. On arrival this was confirmed to be a false alarm.

Time: 16:53  Location: Musham Bank Road, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough responded to a report of a small fire in the open. On arrival this was found to be a moped on fire. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 Knapsack sprayer. There was 100% fire damage to the moped. Incident left with police informed.

Time: 18:16  Location: Rugby Way, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough responded to an alarm sounding in a residential building. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Time: 19:40  Location: A19 South Kilvington to Borrowby

Crews from Thirsk responded to a report of smoke sighted coming across the A19. After investigation no sign of smoke or fire was found.

Time: 19:44  Location: Hailstone Drive, Northallerton

Crews from Northallerton attended a residential property to assist Ambulance crews to gain entry as it was believed a casualty was inside. On arrival no action was required by fire crews as a keyholder arrived and the property was confirmed empty.

Time: 23:45  Location: Darlington Road, Northallerton

Crews from Northallerton attended an alarm sounding in a commercial property. After investigation this was found to be a false alarm.

Time: 02:56  Location: Thirkill Drive, Pannal

Crews from Harrogate responded to an alarm sounding in a residential property. On arrival this was confirmed to be a false alarm and crews were informed the alarm had been reset and an alarm engineer was on route. Shortly after the crew responded to the same property, this was again found to be a false alarm due to a faulty detector head. Advice was given.
