A crew from York attended a report of an automatic fire alarm at residential property, confirmed to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Time: 10:12  Location: Brackenhill Close, Brayton

Selby crew attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential property, this was a false alarm due to a faulty detector.

Time: 10:55  Location: Scarborough Road, Norton

Malton crew attended to an elderly female that required assistance due to being trapped. Equipment used to safely remove the female and she was left in the care of staff.

Time: 11:10  Location: Chatsworth Court, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate attended a report of an automatic fire alarm at a residential property. Confirmed to be a false alarm due to local testing.

Time: 12:57  Location: Thorp Arch Estate, Wetherby

Crews from Acomb and Tadcaster assisted West Yorkshire crews with extinguishing a fire within machinery at an industrial unit.

Time: 14:25  Location: Leonards Road, Harrogate

Crews from Harrogate and Tadcaster attended a report of fire at a residential property. Fire was contained to the ground floor of the premises and extinguished by crews.

Time: 16:18  Location: Little Avenue, York

A crew from Acomb attended a report of a small fire in the open, this was extinguished. The cause is confirmed to to be deliberate, which is believed to have been set by youths.

Crew from Ripon attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property, the cause being plastic tupperware left on the hob which was then turned on.

Time: 16:31 Location: Askham Fields Lane, York

Tadcaster and York attended a report of smoke being seen from the road. Crews attended and this was confirmed to be a controlled burn with the occupier on scene.
