Incident Summary – Day Shift – Wednesday 15th October

12:54 – Bell Close, Scarborough.

Crews from Scarborough and Filey attended reports of a fire alarm going off inside a residential property. This was a false alarm supposedly caused by maintenance work.

14:38 – Kings Road, Harrogate.

Harrogate’s crew came across a broken down van that was leaking oil into the road. They assisted in moving the vehicle from the road and an environmental pack was used to mop up the oil and prevent any contamination.

15:02 – Oatlands Drive, Harrogate.

Crew’s from Harrogate were requested by police to an incident involving a single vehicle road traffic collision. Upon arrival the driver was out of the vehicle so crews assisted in making the scene safe. The casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service.
