Incident Summary – Monday 15th December – Day Shift

Time:  08:47     Location: Kirkbymoorside

Crews from Kirkbymorside responded to reports of a fuel spillage from a car. Crews swilled away a small amount of diesel and swept the road surface

Time:  10:36     Location: Tadcaster

Crew from Tadcaster used a door enforcer to gain entry to a property for a family member who was concerned about the occupant. Once entry gained, occupant found to be safe and well. No further action required by fire crews.

Time:   12:11    Location: Skipton

Crew from Grassington assisted with a child who was locked in a car. Crews gained entry by breaking a front offside window.

Time:  15:14     Location: North Cowton

Crews from Richmond assisted paramedics with a difficult extrication from a property after the occupant had suffered a spinal injury. Crew power only used.

 

 

Crew from York and Acomb also responded to automatic fire alarm activations. These resulted in false alarms.
