Incident Summary – Thursday 25th June – Day Shift

Time: 10.53    Location: Foxwood Lane, York

A crew from Huntington responded to reports of a small fire to grass, on arrival the fire was out, crews inspected only.

Time: 12.07   Location: Scarborough

Scarborough crew responded to reports of a small fire, on arrival crews found a fire in a woodland measuring approximately 04 X 02 metres. Crews used an extended hose reel jet and wildfire tools to extinguish.

Time: 12.14    Location: Cambridge Road, Harrogate

A running call from Harrogate crew after an individual had fallen, crews administered first aid and waited for paramedics to arrive. Crews then left the individual in the care of the paramedics.

Time: 12.15   Location: Highmoor Close, York 

A crew from Acomb assisted paramedics safely move a casualty from a property into an ambulance, crews then left the casualty in the care of the paramedics.

Time: 13.36   Location: North Cotes Road, Foxholes

Crews from Scarborough and Bridlington (Humberside) responded to a report of fire to a grass verge.  On arrival of the crews two seats of fire were found, one measuring 5m x 100m and the other 5m x 150m. Crews used 3 hose reel jets and beaters to extinguish the fires.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a fire in the open.  Crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish and dampen down the area.

Time: 16.28   Location: Eboracum Way, York 

Crews from York and Acomb responded to a sighting of smoke at a property. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm and no further resources were required.

Crews from Acomb responded to automatic fire alarm sounding at a property. After investigation these were found to be false alarms, advice was given to the responsible person.
