Incident Summary 2nd December Day Shift

08:46 A19, Easingwold- Road Traffic Collision

Crews from Acomb, Easingwold and Ripon attended reports of a 4 vehicle road traffic collision. No-one was trapped in any of the vehicles. Crews assisted the ambulance service with casualty handling. Three people were taken to hospital and one person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

A crew from Acomb assisted the ambulance service in getting a casualty who had slipped in the bathroom and hit their head on to a stretcher and into the ambulance. 

11:32 A163 Bubwith - Road traffic collision

Crews from Selby attended a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a van and a car. One person was released from the van by fire crews and taken to hospital by air ambulance. Crews also assisted ambulance crews to transport one casualty from the car to an air ambulance.

16:29 Hipswell- Person locked in

A crew from Richmond responded to reports of an 18 month year old child locked inside a vehicle. The crew gained access to the vehicle through a side window and the child was reunited with their parents.
