Incident Summary 5 March Night Shift

17:03 Hemingbrough, Selby
A crew from Selby were requested to assist police gain entry to a property due to welfare concerns.
18:03 Osmotherley
A crew from Northallerton attended a chimney fire. They used a hose reel, chimney rods and thermal imaging camera. The cause is believed to be a birds nest.
19:30 Allerton Way. Northallerton
A Northallerton crew attended an incident whereby water was coming into a flat through the lights. Crews investigated and discovered that the occupant of the flat above had fallen alseep whilst running a bath causing the flooding to the flat below. Crews isolated the lights and gave advice.
20:55 Wreyfield Drive, Newby, Scarborough
Two crews attended an inicdent where a tea towel had been left on an electric hob which was still turned on. This caused 100% fire damage to the tea towel. The occupier had extinguished the fire prior to crew's arrival using the sink. No action needed by fire crews.
21:17 Chapel Mews, Skipton Road, Harrogate
Crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough attended a fire to a grill pan in a flat. The fire burnt itself out before crew's arrived, and caused damage to the grill pan only.The fire crews carried out an inspection only.
21:58 Goathland, Whitby
Crews were requested to help transport a patient down stairs and into an ambulance
02:50 Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate were called to help a person who had fallen out of a wheelcahir and was unable to get back up. Crews gained entry into the property and were able to help the person back into their chair.
