A crew attended flooding to a residential property affecting the ground flood. They rescued two adults, two children, two dogs and a cat from the property using a triple extension ladder

A crew attended flooding in open outside of a property. They gave advice and help place sandbags

09:53 Sheepfoot Hill, Malton

A crew attended flooding to a basement of a property, and used a light portable pump.

A crew attended attended flooding affecting the village. They used a light portable pump.

 

10:34 Carnforth

A crew were requested to assist ambulance crews gain entry to a property with an unconscious casualty. The casualty regained consciousness before the arrival of crews and was able to open the door to the ambulance crew.

 

10:57 Stepney Road, Scarborough

Crews attended a fire in a bedroom of a residential property. The fire caused 50% smoke damage to the bedroom and 100% fire damage to an electric fire. The cause is believed to be a faulty electrical appliance. Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation fan. They also administered first aid to a casualty who suffered slight smoke inhalation and one who had fallen and hit their head. Ambulance crews also attended.

Crews attended a van with a driver stuck in flood water. They used water rescue equipment to wade out and get the driver to safety.

Crews attended reports of floodwater entering properties. Advice given only.

Crews attended flooding to the local area. They used a major pump to prevent water entering properties and helped with sand bagging.

14:59 Bishop Monkton

Crews attended a person in a van trapped in flood water. Crews walked the driver to safely using dry suits and a wading pole

 

16:09 Castlegate Malton

Crews assisted the council with setting up a pump at Castlegate.
