A crew were requested to assist ambulance crews gain entry to a property with an unconscious casualty. The casualty regained consciousness before the arrival of crews and was able to open the door to the ambulance crew.
10:57 Stepney Road, Scarborough
Crews attended a fire in a bedroom of a residential property. The fire caused 50% smoke damage to the bedroom and 100% fire damage to an electric fire. The cause is believed to be a faulty electrical appliance. Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation fan. They also administered first aid to a casualty who suffered slight smoke inhalation and one who had fallen and hit their head. Ambulance crews also attended.
