Incident Summary 22nd Feb Night Shift

23rd February 2021

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

16:49 M62 West J34 to J33

A crew from Humberside dealt with with a 4x4 on fire. They used breathing appartus and a hose reel jet. The cause of the fire is unkown.

17:16 False alarm good intent- smoke was from a log burner

17:19 York

An officer attended a incident whereby an occupier was concerned that pack of sparklers had fallen beging a mantle piece and could ignite from the fire. Ad vice was given to the iccupier and the fire isplated and made safe.

17:59 Wains Road, York

A crew attended a fire to a microwave. The fire was out on their arrival but had caused 100% damage to the contents of the microwave and 5% damage to the microwave itseld. Crews ventilated the property using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

18:25 Sherburn in Elemet

Crews attended a fire in a boiler room of an industria unit. The fire was confined to the electrical unit with the room causing 100% fire damage to the unit. The cause of the fire is believed to be overheating wires. Crews used dry power extinguisher, breathing apparatus, lighting and thermal imaging camera they also liasied with the on site engineer.

Crews responded to smell of burning in a hallway. Crews investiated and liasied with on site personnnel. 

20:32 Harrogate

Crews were requested to assist smbulance crews gain entry to a property. On their arrival ambulance crews has also gained entry
