17:40 Lythe -Fale alarm
A crew from Lythe attended reports of an alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes
1743 East Mount, Malton- Residential Fire
Crews attended reports of a fire to a two storey property. The occupier had tackled the fire using a garden hose before the arrival of crews. The cause is believed to be fat on the hob catching fire from the gas hob and spreading to the extractor hood. Crews used small tools, water bottle and a thermal imaging camera.
1755 Naburn, York- Residential fire
Crews from York and Acomb crews attended a fire to an external electrical juntction box attached to a side of a property. The fire casued slight fire damage to the guttering and flashing. Crews extinguisher the fire used a dry powder extinguisher, and left the incident with the electricity board.

Crews attended a false alarm caused by cooking fumes
1950 North Duffield- industrial fire
Crews from selby attended a fire to a workshop. The fire caused approximately 2square metres of damage to the corner of the workshop, and is believed to have spread from a wood burner. Crews used one hose reel jet to tackle the fire, along with small tools, lighting and thermal imaging cameras. One person was checked over by paramedics at the scene for possible smoke inhalation.
0525 Paston Walk, York- Wheelie bin fire
A crew from York attended a large wheelie bin on fire. They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The cause is believed to be discarded smokers materials.
