Ripon

 

TOC: 0645

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a lorry on fire containing gas bottles. Crews used a ground monitor, 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels. Crews allowed gas bottles to vent off and cooled and made safe.

 

 

 

York

 

TOC: 0737

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.

 

 

 

Whitby

 

TOC: 0952

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke in a pumping station with 6 sub levels. Crews investigated with breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras due to all 6 sub levels being smoke logged. Crews accompanied an engineer and established that the cause was an overheating motor bearing.

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.

 

 

 

Scarborough

Crew were mobilised to remove a ring from the finger of a female using ring cutters.

 

 

 

Esk Valley

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke in the open. On arrival crews found 40 square metres of bracken on fire. Extinguished using 4 backpack sprayers.

 

 

 

Knaresborough

 

TOC: 1243

 

Crew were mobilised to a call reporting possible smoke from a building. This was a false alarm due to nearby controlled burning.

 

 

 

Bishopthorpe

 

TOC: 1318

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke seen in the area. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning.

 

 

 

Masham

 

TOC:1326

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire in a field after a power cable had been knocked down. This was approx. 40 square metres of stubble field alight. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel, beaters and thermal imaging camera.

 

 

 

Rufforth

 

TOC: 1536

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to accidental activation of a break glass callpoint.

 

 

 

York

 

TOC:1547

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a shed fire. This was a small brick outhouse, well alight, crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel.
