Please see below a round up of incidents from Friday 16th April - Day Shift

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Harrogate.  Time 09:14

A crew from Harrogate used a ladder to remove a loose slate overhanging a public pathway from a 3 storey domestic premises.

Scarborough  Time 09:36

A crew from Scarborough responded to a smoke alarm activation in sheltered accommodation which was found to be caused due to workmen testing.

 Scarborough  Time 10:42

Scarborough crew responded to an Ambulance request to assist in getting to a male who had fallen into from a wall of approx. 2m and into bushes. Firecrews used a DeWalt saw and crew power to enable paramedics to get to the male who was transported to hospital by ambulance with suspected back injuries.

Richmond Road, Catterick Garrison 12:24

A Richmond fire crew made the scene safe following a 2 car minor RTC. One person at scene treat by paramedics for minor injuries only.

 York  Time 14:41

 Crews from York, Acomb and Harrogate responded to reports of smoke issuing from the lift motor room on the top floor of a 6 storey office building. Firecrews investigated and stood by until a lift engineer attended when a small fire was found to have occurred in a lift door, but was already out.
