Fire crew from Knaresborough responded to an anutomatic Fire alarm at a commercial premises. This was confirmed as a false alarm

 

A1237, Wigginton

Time of call 11:43

Fire crew from Huntington attended a car fire on the York ring road. This was believed to have been caused by a mechanical fault. Crew extinguished fire using one hose reel and 1 breathing apparatus.

 

Romanby Road, Northallerton

Time of call 12:16

Fire crew from Northallerton responded to a smoke alarm sounding and a strong smell of burning at a nursing home.

 

Monkholme Lane, Threshfield

Time of call 12:22

Fire crew from Grassington responded to a chimney fire at a residential property. Fire was believed to have been caused by accumulation of soot. Crews used a thermal imaging camera as fire was out on their arrival

 

Leeds Road, Harrogate

Fire crew from Harrogate attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises. This was a false alarm.

Fire crew from Scarborough responded to a smoke alarm sounding at a residential property. This was a false alarm

Fire crews from York attended a car fire involving a Mercedes. Crews extinguished fire using one hose reel and one breathing apparatus.
