Time: 08:01

 

Location: The Beach Road, Filey

 

Crews from Filey responded to an automatic fire alarm at a residential address, this was a false alarm caused by steam from a kettle.

 

 

 

Time: 08:31

 

Location: A64, Malton

 

A crew from Malton attended a 2 car road traffic collision. All occupants of the vehicles were out on arrival and a female was taken to hospital via road ambulance with knee, pelvis and back injuries. Crews assisted Police with scene safety.

 

 

 

Time: 08:41

 

Location: Alne

 

Easingwold and Acomb appliances attended a small fire within a boiler room of a residential property. Crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 thermal imaging camera. The fire caused heavy smoke damage to the room of origin and was caused by careless disposal of hot ashes into a cardboard box.

Location: Skipwith, Selby

 

Selby extinguished a small fire rubbish fire in a car park, crews used 1 hose reel jet.

 

 

 

 

 

Time: 11:00

 

Location: Ulleskelf, Tadcaster

 

2 crews from Tadcaster attended a disused caravan on fire. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus and small tools. The cause of the fire was deliberate.

 

 

 

 

 

Time: 12:17

 

Location: Lascelles Lane, Northallerton

 

Northallerton responded to an automatic fire alarm at a residential address, this was a false alarm caused by system testing.

 

 

 

 

 

Time: 13:12

 

Location: Kirkby Malzeard

 

Masham were mobilised to reports of a fire in the open, this turned out to be controlled burning under supervision, no action taken by the fire service.
