 Incident Summary Friday 25th May Day Shift

 Please see below a round up of incidents from Friday 25th May Day Shift

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Scarborough TOC: 12:17

Ironguttering was hanging from a 3 storey building over a public footpath. A crew from Scarborough attended and used an aerial ladder platform to access the guttering and make the building safe.

Germany Lane, York TOC: 13:07

A fence was on fire but staff from the property were able to extinguish this using dry powder extinguishers prior to the arrival of the fire service. Crews from York and Acomb did attend and investigated a porta cabin nearby to confirm the that fire had not spread.

Bishopthorpe Road, York TOC: 14:35

A crew from York released a deer that had become trapped in a fence. The crews used spreading equipment on the fence. The dear was then released unharmed.

Skipton Road, Harrogate TOC: 15:00

A chimney was on fire along Bishopthorpe Road. A crew from Harrogate attended but the fire was out on arrival. Crews inspected the area using a thermal image camera to ensure the fire was out.

A167, Lovesome Hill TOC: 15:46

A two vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A167 involving a car and transit van. Crews from Northallerton and Richmond attended and released a male from the van. The casualty was then left in the care of paramedics on the scene with unknown injuries.
