Location: Newby, Stokesley  

 

Crew from Coulby Newham and Northallerton responded to a report of a vehicle fire. This was found to be a false alarm caused by a steaming tyre. No action was taken by crews.

Location: York  

 

A crew from York responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.  

 

Time: Ripon  

Location: 10:33 

 

A crew from Ripon responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm the cause of which was unknown.  

 

Time: Tadcaster  

Location: 10:37 

 

A crew from Tadcaster responded to a report of a vehicle on fire. On arrival crews found this to be a false alarm due to the engine overheating.

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm caused by steam.

Crews from Harrogate and Tadcaster responded to a report of a calf stuck down an embankment next to the river.  Crews assisted by a farm hand who was used to handling the cows used floatation devices and lines to assist the calf to the top of the bank. The calf was checked by a vet and left with its mother.

A crew from Ripon responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a commercial premises, this was a false alarm caused by an accidental activation.

A crew from Ripon responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

Location: Harrogate 

 

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of flooding in a premises. On arrival crews found a small amount of flooding was caused by a blocked drain. Crews removed as much water as possible from the premises using an LPP and gave advice to the occupant.

Location: Whitby  

 

A crew from Whitby responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm caused by water in the detector head.

Location: Sutton-in-Craven 

 

A crew from Skipton responded to a report of a fire seen in the open. Crews extinguished a small fire using a hose reel jet.  

 

Time: 16:08 

Location: Scarborough  

 

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a bin on fire. On arrival crews found a wheelie bin well alight believed to have been caused by a discarded cigarette. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet.  

 

Time: 16:46 

Location: Northallerton  

 

A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of a female stuck in a lift. Crews found that the female was unable to exit the lift due to pressing the incorrect button. Crews released the female unharmed.
