Incident Summary Day Shift Wednesday 26th September 2018

26th September 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

We also attended a number of fire alarm activations during the shift which turned out to be a false alarms.

Fire in commercial building – York city centre

Time of call: 10:00

An appliance from Acomb attended this incident which was a fire to a compressor unit, the fire was out on arrival and crews inspected for fire spread.

Multi agency incident – Hull Road, York

Time of call: 11:39

Appliances from York, Acomb, Huntington and Tadcaster along with several specialist officers attended this incident along with the Ambulance service and the Police.  A male was rescued from the area by the fire service and has is now receiving the appropriate medical treatment.
