Appliances from Scarborough attended and made a window safe after the weather had blown it inside the property.


Person stuck in lift – Westborough, Scarborough

Time of call: 10:20

An appliance from Scarborough attended and rescued 1 person using lift keys.


Building fire – Sneck Gate Lane, Newby

Time of call:12:59

Appliances from Coulby Newham and Stokesley attended this incident and extinguished a fire in an out building using 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets.


Persons trapped emergency – Constitution Road, Settle

Time of call: 13:21

Appliances from Settle and Bentham attended this incident and rescued a male who was trapped between a van and a wall, crews used the appliance winch and high pressure airbags to release the male who was then transported to hospital.


Fire in the open – A19, South Thirsk

Time of call: 13:23

An appliance from Thirsk attended this and extinguished a bale of hay on fire using a hose reel jet.


Automatic Fire Alarm – Frenchgate, Richmond

An appliance from Richmond attended this incident and confirmed this was a false alarm.

Appliances from Northallerton attended this incident and extinguished a boiler which was on fire using a dry powder extinguisher and a hose reel jet. 


Bridge Collapse – Coach street, Skipton

Appliances form Skipton attended this incident which involved a bridge that had collapsed over the beck near the carpark on coach street, appliances cordoned of the area and made the scene safe.  Crews are currently still in attendance and this incident is ongoing.
