Incident Summary Night Shift 20th September 2019

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Hutton le Hole – Time of call 1825

Crews from Kirkbymoorside responded to calls of a chimney fire at a residential property, this was a false alarm due to a heat spike in the chimney.

Harrogate – Time of call 1911

Harrogate crews responded to a small camp fire in the open, crews gave advice to the responsible person.

Harrogate – Time of call 1937

Harrogate crews responded to a shed on fire in the rear garden of a residential property. The fire caused 100% damage to the shed and its contents. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, 1 breathing apparatus, small tools, lighting and a thermal imaging camera.

Piercebridge – Time of call 2204

Crews from Colburn and Richmond and Darlington responded to a chimney fire at a residential property. Crews used small tools and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish and make safe.

 York– Time of call 2243

 

Crews from York and Huntington responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision. No persons were trapped and crews made the scene safe using small tools.

 

 

 

 

 

Scarborough – Time of call 0158

 

Crews from Scarborough responded to a mattress on fire in an alleyway of a residential street. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet. 

 

 

 

York – Time of call 0228

 

Crew from York responded to an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

 

 

 

Skipton – Time of call 0517

 

Crew from Skipton responded to an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm due to steam from a shower.

 

 

 

Scarborough – Time of call 0557

 

Crew from Scarborough responded to an alarm sounding at a commercial property, this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

 

 

 

Skipton – Time of call 0624

Crew from Skipton responded to an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm due to accidental activation
