Incident Summary –Night shift –25th May

The Mount, York

Time of call 17:53

York crews responded to a smoke alarm activation at a domestic property. This was a false alarm caused by

York Business Park, Malton

Time of call 18:32

Fire crews from Malton responded to a smoke alarm activation at a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to defective equipment.

Common Lane, Heslington, York

Time of call 20:15

Fire crews from York attended a fire in the woodland. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental. Crews used knapsack sprayer and bucket to extinguish the fire.

Sandybed Lane, Scarborough

Time of call 20:41

Fire crews from Scarborough responded to a smoke alarm activation at a public premises. This was a false alarm caused by defective equipment.

Malton Road, Stockton on the Forest.

Time of call 20:46

Fire crews from Huntington responded to reports of some vehicle on fire. On arrival they requested a further 3 appliances and confirmed a building measuring 50m x 20m was well alight and up to 30 vehicles were involved.

Hunmanby Road, Reighton

Time of call 22:33

Filey and Scarborough crews attended a two vehicle road traffic collision. One female was trapped and crews released her without using any cutting gear and she was left in the care of Ambulance and Paramedics at the scene.

St Nicholas Street, Scarborough

Time of call 22:48

Scarborough crews attended a smoke alarm activation which was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Cliffe Common, Selby

Time of call 02:49

Crews from Selby attended a smoke alarm activation which was a false alarm.

Elders Street, Scarborough

Time of call 06:13

Crews from Scarborough assist police in dealing with an unsafe structure. Crews used Small tools and an axe.
