Incident Summary Night Shift Thursday 27th September 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 TOC    18:01   Bowes Lane, Gristhorpe, Filey

Crews from Scarborough and Filey attended a two vehicle road traffic collision, one female was taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm, a second female casualty was removed from a vehicle by the fire service using hydraulic cutting equipment and taken to hospital with suspected pelvis and head injuries.

TOC    18:10   Farnham Lane, Farnham

Crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough attended a report of an agricultural building on fire, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to controlled burning under supervision.

TOC    00:29   Tang Hall, York

 A crew from York assisted with a water leak which was affecting electrics in a property by isolating the water supply.

TOC    01:43   Skipton

A crew from Skipton assisted with gaining entry to a property to enable ambulance crews to treat a casualty.

TOC    02:58   Skipton

Crew were mobilised to assist with a water leak affecting electrics in a property. Crews isolated water and electrics using small tools.


In addition to the above, crews have attended reports of automatic fire alarm activations in York, Sherburn in Elmet, Malton, all of which were false alarms.
