Incident Summary Day Shift Wednesday 10th October 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 Blind Lane area, Knaresborough

Time of call: 11:36

A crew from Harrogate were called to assist the ambulance service with gaining entry to a property for them to be able to treat a patient. Crews gained entry and left the patient with the paramedics.

A19, Barlby

Time of call: 12:29

Two crews from Selby and an officer attended to a two vehicle road traffic collision. Crews assisted with one vehicle that was emitting smoke and also gave first aid to the occupant of one vehicle. The female was taken to hospital via road ambulance.

Denton Moor

Time of call: 13:44

Skipton and Harrogate crews were called to reports of a fire seen from the air between Harrogate and Bolton Abbey. Crews investigated and found a controlled burn under supervision. No action was taken by Fire Service.

Keld area

Time of call: 14:16

A crew from Hawes were called to a fire in the open. This was controlled burning and no action was taken.

The Cragg, Whitby

Time of call: 14:55

A crew from Whitby were called to assist the ambulance service with a patient. On arrival, the Fire Service's assistance was not needed.

 We also attended automatic fire alarm activations in Skipton, Harrogate, York and Stokesley. These were all false alarms.
