Incident Summary Night Shift Monday 19th  November

 Crews from around the county have attended a number of automatic fire alarms today. Thankfully all of these have been false alarms.

Baxtons Road, Helmsley

Time of call 20:12

 A crew from Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside have extinguished a small fire inside an agricultural building. Crews extinguished the fire which caused approx. six square metres of damage using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation fan.

 Fossgate, York

Time of call 23:18

 A crew from Acomb and York have responded to reports of a smell of burning coming from residential flats. On arrival and further investigation this was found to be caused by cooking fumes. 

 Pottergate, Richmond

Time of call 02:20

 A crew from Richmond attended a report of a cylinder in the roadway giving off a strong smell of gas, on arrival there was no cylinder located, inspection of area only.
