A crew from Richmond and Colburn have attended a chimney fire in a residential building. Crews used chimney kit and rods.

Flints Terrace, Richmond Time of call: 17:48

A crew from Leyburn have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused due to cooking fumes.

A168, Walshford Time of call: 17:51

Crews from Knaresborough and Harrogate have attended reports of a car fire on the A168.  On arrival at the incident the fire was already out and crews used a hose reel to cool the engine compartment.

Church Square, Whitby Time of call: 18:03

Crews from Whitby, Lythe and Scarborough have investigated reports of smoke inside a block of flats. Crews made a full search of two properties and found that the smoke was coming from a log burner in a neighbouring property.

Beulah Terrace, Scarborough Time of call: 18:16

Crews from Scarborough have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused due to cooking fumes.

Chipstead Walk, Strensall Time of call: 19:05

A crew from Huntington have released an elderly lady who became trapped behind a door. Crews used a hooligan tool and prise bar to remove the door.

Piccadilly, York Time of call: 19:34

A crew from York have extinguished a small waste bin fire in a commercial property. Crews used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel.

North Lane, York Time of call: 22:13

A crew from York and Acomb have attended reports of a kitchen fire in a residential property. This was a small fire confined to the kitchen and was out on arrival. Crews inspected property and used positive pressure ventilation to clear smoke inside.

Spa Road, Harrogate Time of call: 00:29

Crews from Harrogate attended a carbon monoxide alarm sounding inside a residential property where a coal burning stove was burning. Crews extinguished the fire inside the stove using a bucket of water and gave advice to the occupiers.

Friarage Gardens, Northallerton Time of call: 04:20

Crews from Northallerton have released one elderly person from a lift following a possible power cut in the area.

Grant Close, Osmotherley Time of call: 05:31

Crews from Northallerton have attended reports of an automatic fire alarm. On arrival this was a false alarm and in fact the burglar alarm.

Frogmire Road, Knaresborough Time of call: 05:54

Crews from Knaresborough have attended reports of an automatic fire alarm. The cause of this is unknown.

Castle Road, Scarborough Time of call: 05:54

Crews from Scarborough have attended reports of an automatic fire alarm. The cause of this was due to defective equipment.
