17:36 George Hudson Street, York
Crews from Huntington and Acomb responded to a report of smoke in the kitchen of a commercial property. Crew confirmed this was a fire involving a pizza oven and had caused smoke logging to the premises. Crews extinguished using a hose reel and then ventilated the property.
18:01 St Anns Court, York
York crew responded to a smoke alarm activation at a residential premises. Crews investigated and confirmed this was a fire involving a waste bin that had been extinguished prior to arrival of Fire Crews.
18:12 Banks Road, Brompton
Crews from Northallerton attended a fire involving a JCB. Crew used two hose reels to extinguish. Fire was confined the JCB only.
18:43 Cherry Tree Avenue, New Earswick
Huntington crews assisted Ambulance service with extricating casualty from their domestic premises into an Ambulance.
18:44 Marsh Lane, Cawood.
Selby crews responded to a report of a pile of grain smoldering. Crew extinguished using a hose reel.
18:46, Stump Cross Caverns area.
Grassington crews responded to investigate a reports of a disposable BBQ being used on very dry moorland. Crew extinguished the BBQ due to the risk of fire spread using a bucket of water.
19:37 Filey Country Park, Filey
Scarborough crews investigated a report of a disposable BBQ being used in dry grass land area. On arrival crew confirmed responsible person had extinguished the BBQ safely.

Acomb crews were mobilised to a small camp fire left unattended in woodland. Crew used a knapsack sprayer.
20:28 Water End, York
Acomb crews were mobilised to a fire sighted near some trees. Crew investigated and confirmed 3 wooden pallets had been set alight. Crew used a hose reel.
20:43 A64 slip road onto A19 near Fulford.
York, Tadcaster and Huntington responded to investigate several reports of smoke issuing from a vehicle parked up. After inspection crew confirmed there was no fire, an oil leak had caused the hot oil to smoke, this was mistaken for fire.
Automatic smoke alarms activated and were investigated by crews from Ripon, Scarborough and York. All confirmed to be false alarms.
