Contact the Media Team

We respond to media enquiries from trained, professional journalists working on behalf of a recognised media outlet. As a recognised media outlet, the organisation you work for will be regulated by a recognised code of ethics for print, online or broadcast media.

Before submitting an enquiry, please check the information already available on our website:

  • Incident round-ups are published twice daily in the Incidents section. 
    • We also add details of larger or major incidents to our website either in the incidents section or latest news section.
  • Press releases can be found in the latest news section.

Media enquiries should be emailed to media@northyorksfire.gov.uk

This inbox is monitored:

  • 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday
  • 8.30am to 4.30pm, Friday
    (excluding bank holidays)

Where a response is required we aim to respond within one working day. However, response times may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the enquiry. Enquiries received outside of these hours will be responded to as soon as possible on the next working day.
