The Fire and Rescue National Framework for England asks every fire and rescue authority to assess all foreseeable risks and provide interventions to reduce those risks and support community resilience.
To do this well, we need to know our communities, where people live, work and visit, alongside how those places and society are changing. Whether it’s through prevention and early intervention, fire safety, building resilience, or responding to emergencies, we’re here to support you.
But like many public services,we have limited resources. That’s why it’s so important that we use them wisely, focusing on those most at risk and vulnerable.
Our Community Risk Profile shares the risks identified across York and North Yorkshire.
