Time: 08.22 Location: Boundary Avenue, Sutton in Craven
A Crew from Skipton responded to a report of a domestic fire alarm activation. This was found to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.
Time: 08.34 Location: A65 Austwick
Crews from Hornby and Hawes responded to a report of smoke coming from a woodland near the road. This was found to be a controlled burn under supervision and no Fire Service action was necessary.
Time: 08.58 Location: Rotary Way, Northallerton
A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of a fire set on a footpath. The fire measured 2m x 2m and crews extinguished it using knapsack sprayers and gave advice to youths in the area. Police were informed due to the cause of the fire believed to be deliberate.
Time: 09.08 Location: Marton, Sinnington
A Crew from Malton responded to a report of a fire in a field. This was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. Advice given to responsible person.
Time: 09.29 Location: East Row, Sandsend
A crew from Whitby responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm activation in a residential premises. This was found to be a false alarm due to workmen.
Time: 09.34 Location: Ainsty Road, Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of multiple alarm activations at a non residential premises. After inspection this was found to be a false alarm due to the installation of a new fire panel.
Time: 10.42 Location: York Place, Knaresborough
A crew from Knaresborough responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm sounding in a residential property. On arrival of the crew this was found to have been caused by the occupier testing the system.

A crew from Whitby responded to a report of smoke sighted in the area from the road. After an inspection of the area this is believed to be dust blowing off the moors.
Time: 11.19 Location: Wentworth Way, York
Crews from Acomb and York responded to a report of smoke inside a building. After inspection this was found to be smoke from a kiln that didn’t have the ventilation attached correctly. Crews naturally ventilated the property.
Time: 13.32 Location: A64 Staxton
A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of smoke coming from a grass verge on the side of the road. After a thorough inspection of the area no fire was found.
Time: 13.42 Location: Upper Helmsley
A crew from York responded to a report of a fire in a field. On attendance the crews found a controlled burn with occupant in attendance. Advice was given.
Time: 15.03 Location: Brame Lane, Norwood
A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of a fire to a grass verge. Crews located the fire which was out on arrival. No Fire Service action was required.
Time: 15.33 Location: Ascot Way, York
Crews from York and Acomb responded to a report of a fire to an oven in the kitchen of a residential premises. The fire had been extinguished prior to Fire Service arrival. Crews assisted with natural ventilation the property.
Time: 15.43 Location: Beulah Street, Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential premises. After investigation this was a false alarm due to activation of a manual call point.
Time: 16.09 Location: Scott Road, Selby
A crew from Selby responded to a report of a fire in a woodland. The fire was out on arrival of the crews and no Fire Service action was required. The Police were informed due to the believed deliberate nature of the fire.
Time: 16.21 Location: Osmotherley
A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of a camp fire that had been lit by a stream. The fire measured 1m x 1m and was extinguished by the people on scene under supervision of the crew.
