Time: 07:50       Location: Town Head, Settle

Bentham’s appliance was mobilised to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system, advice was given to a responsible person.

Time:  08:49     Location: Sim Balk Lane, York

Acomb’s crew were mobilised to a stubble field fire near the A64. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish and dampen down the area.

Time:  09:22     Location: Whorlton Lane, Whorlton

Stokesley’s appliance responded to reports of smoke sighted. This was found to be a small fire measuring approximately 1M by 1M. Crews extinguished using a hose reel jet and wildfire tools.

Time:  09:46     Location: A64 Fulford

Crews from York, Acomb and Tadcaster were mobilised to a car fire on the dual carriageway. Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet, one thermal imagining camera and breathing apparatus for comfort wearing.

Time: 11:11      Location: Chop Gate

Crews from Stokesley, Pickering and Kirkbymoorside responded to reports of a fire in the open measuring approximately 5x5M. Crews used knapsack sprayers, recip saws, and wildfire rakes to extinguish and dampen down.

Time: 11:31      Location: Winterscale Street, York

York’s appliance responded to reports of a a small fire in the open. After inspection this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. Crews gave advice to the responsible person.

Skipton’s pump were mobilised to a bin fire. Crews extinguished using one hose reel jet.

Acomb’s crew responded to an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Time:  13:24     Location: Elm Close, Northallerton

Northallerton’s pump were mobilised to a property with a person locked inside. Crews used small tools and a slip guard to free them unharmed.

Scarborough’s TRV crew attended a residential property with flooding inside. Crews isolated the water and gave advice to the occupier.

Huntington’s appliance was mobilised to reports of a lawn mower on fire. The fire was out on arrival of crews, a hose reel jet was used to dampen down the surrounding area.

Malton’s crew responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm due to a fault. Advice was given to owner.

A crew from Skipton responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises, this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Crews gave advice to the occupier.
