A crew from Acomb responded to a fire alarm activation inside a residential building. On arrival, after investigation, this was confirmed to be a false alarm due to steam.
Time: 07:36 Location: Stokesley Road, Brompton
A crew from Northallerton responded to a fire sighted in a field. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. Advice was given.

Crews from Helmsley, Northallerton and an argocat from Kirkbymoorside responded to a fire in woodland measuring approximately 10m x 5m. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish.

A crew from Selby responded to a fire alarm activating inside a residential property. On arrival, after investigation, this was found to be a false alarm due to a faulty detector.

Crew from Hawes provided medical assistance to a person after being approached by a member of the public. Crews gave oxygen therapy and immediate medical care until the arrival of paramedics.

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of smoke in the area. On arrival this was confirmed as a controlled burn which had already been extinguished before crews arrival. No fire service action was required.

A crew from Scarborough responded to smoke sighted. This was found to be a small fire which had been extinguished prior to fire service arrival. Crews dampened down the area.

A crew from Whitby responded to a person that had become stuck in a lift. Crew released the person who was safe and well.

Malton responded to reports of fire seen in a stubble field. After investigation, this was confirmed as a controlled burn under supervision with fire extinguishing media present. No fire service action required.
Time: 12:02 Location: Crossfield Crescent, York
Crews from York and Tadcaster responded to a fire to a gas cylinder in the garden of a residential property. Crews established a cordon and used a ground monitor to cool the cylinder. The cylinder was submerged in water whilst it vented off and monitored throughout. This incident is ongoing at the time of publication.

Crews from Richmond, Northallerton, Leyburn, Reeth and a Water Bowser from Tadcaster responded to a fire consisting of straw bales which had spread to a field. This incident is ongoing at the time of publication.

A crew from Harrogate responded to a fire sighted in woodland. This was found to be a log which was smouldering and crew used a bucket of water to extinguish.

Crews from Acomb, Huntington and Harrogate responded to multiple reports of a fire to grass in the central reservation. This fire was out on arrival of the crew and no fire service action was required.

A crew from Huntington responded to a report of a fire in the rear garden of a property. The fire was out on arrival. Crews carried out an external scan with a thermal imaging camera.
