Incident Summary – Thursday 17th September – Night Shift

Time: 16:56  Location: Brownlow Street, York 

A crew from York were mobilised to assist Police gain entry to a residential property with concerns for the occupant inside. No action was taken by crews as the occupant returned home safe and well.

Time: 19:05  Location: Main Street, Ulleskelf 

Tadcaster crew were mobilised to a report of a mains power cable sparking. The fire was out on arrival of crews but there was clear fire damage. Triple extension ladder and thermal imaging camera used to check for hotspots. Incident left with Northern Power Grid for repairs.

Time: 20:26  Location: A168, Boroughbridge

Boroughbridge crew were mobilised to a vehicle fire. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose jet and 2 breathing apparatus. The vehicle was 100% fire damaged and the cause was believed to have been an electrical fault. Incident left with Police for recovery.

Time: 22:00 Location: Woolnough Avenue, York

A crew from York were mobilised to a fire seen in the back garden of a property. This was confirmed to be a controlled burn with the occupier in attendance.

Time: 03:23  Location: Holbeck Mews

Scarborough crew were mobilised to an automatic fire alarm at a residential property. This was confirmed to be a false alarm.
