Incident Summary – Tuesday Nightshift, 23rd December 2025
Time: 20:30 Location: Moorgate, York
Acomb mobilised to assist ambulance crews with the difficult extrication of a patient stuck on the first floor of their property. A casualty drag sheet and crew power was used to move the patient to the road ambulance for transport to hospital.
Time: 23:29 Location: B6451, Harrogate
Harrogate assisted police with containing a fuel leak on a van lying on its side in a field after it had been involved in a road traffic collision earlier. The driver was out of the vehicle and uninjured prior to fire crews arrival. Fire crews used dammit paste from the environmental pack to contain the leak. The incident was left with police to arrange recovery of the vehicle during daylight hours.

A crew from Whitby responded to reports of a person locked in a conservatory, crews assisted the person into the home as the doors were stiff.
Time: 06:04 Location: Woodfield Road, Harrogate
Crews from Harrogate and Ripon responded to a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the transportation of a patient tot the awaiting road ambulance.
Malton also responded to activated fire alarms inside commercial and residential buildings. After inspection, these were all confirmed as false alarms.
