0740  Eastholme Drive, York

Crews from Acomb and York attended a property where a passerby thought they could smell smoke.  After inspection the crews found no fire and believed this to be a false alarm due to a log burner generating smoke in the area.

0817  Westwood, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough attended a commercial property to release one person struck in a lift.  The crews used lift keys.

0848  Fulford Road, York 

Crews from Acomb attended a property where a fire alarm was sounding, this was a false alarm due to deodorant spray setting off the detector head.

0923  Doncaster Road, Selby 

Crews from Selby attended an automatic fire alarm sounding at a property, this was a false alarm due to an unknown cause.

0927  Sharow Lane, Sharow, Ripon 

Crews from Ripon, Harrogate and water rescue units from Skipton and Selby attended a report received from the police regarding a car that was found with the front end in the river.  An extensive search was carried out by water rescue teams together with a full bankside search which resulted in no persons located.   The Police then received confirmation that the owners of the vehicle were safe and accounted for.  Incident left with the Police.

1005  Garnet Terrace, York 

Crews from Acomb attended a property where residents were locked inside living room due to faulty mechanism on the door handle.  Crews used small tools to gain entry.

1010  East Road, Northallerton 

Crews from Northallerton attended a commercial property with a report of smoke issuing from a till.  On arrival crews did a thorough inspection using a thermal image camera, no further fire located.  Advice was given to isolate the till and arrange for an engineer to attend.

1218  Town End Close, Crosshills 

Crews from Skipton attended a property where a smoke alarm was sounding this was a false alarm due to accidental activation of the alarm call point.

1414  Ravenscar, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough attended an automatic fire alarm at a property, this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

1602  Heslington, York

Crews from York attended an automatic fire alarm, this was a false alarm due to an electrical fault.

1658  Back Syke, Bainbridge 

Crews from Hawes and Leyburn are currently attending a chimney fire.
