Time: 19:39 Location: Muston Road, Filey
A crew from Filey responded to a report of sparks coming out of a chimney in a residential property. A full inspection and thermal scan of the chimney was carried out and this was confirmed to be a false alarm.
Time: 21:25 Location: Garnet Terrace, York
A crew from Acomb attended a small fire in the open consisting of household waste. Crews extinguished the fire using a knapsack sprayer and small tools.
Time: 00:38 Location: High Street, Eastfield
A crew from Scarborough responded to a commercial wheelie bin which was on fire. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet. The cause was believed to be deliberate.

Time: 03:16 Location: Foreshore Road, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was caused by a small electrical fire in a light switch in a commercial property, which had spread into the wall. Crews used small tools to expose the smouldering area and extinguished using a bucket of water.

A crew from York responded to reports of a person locked out of their flat. Crews used a triple extension ladder to gain access and open the door from the inside.
Time: 04:47 Location: Spring Gardens, Boroughbridge
Knaresborough responded to a fire at the top of a 8 foot telegraph pole. Crews pitched a triple exterior ladder and extinguished the fire using a dry powder extinguisher. A thermal check using a thermal imaging camera was conducted after to confirm the fire was fully extinguished. The incident was then left with an electrical engineer enroute to inspect superficial fire damage to electrical housing and restore power to local residents.
Crews from Harrogate (x2) and Scarborough attended fire alarm activations. After investigation these were all confirmed to be false alarms.
